This track was a year in the making and it was definitely worth the wait. Bringing together an 80s City Pop-inspired instrumental with a more modern vocal style and a catchy hook, Trippin’ tells an emotional story of CJ’s past relationship that came to an end, the struggles he had getting the person out of his mind, and eventually moving on. This track acts as closure for CJ after being in production for so long and allowed him to process his emotions through songwriting.
